The 24th Climate Diagnostics and Prediction Workshop was held on November 1-5, 1999 at the University of Arizona. The workshop was co-sponsored by the Climate Prediction Center of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) / NOAA, Washington, D.C., and the University of Arizona's Institute for the Study of the Planet Earth and Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Tucson. The American Meteorological Society was also a cooperating sponsor.
