The four neighborhoods taking part in the COPS project are indicated in green (see figures 1 and 2). Located on Tucson's west side, they include Barrio Silvercroft, Bario Hollywood, Barrio Anita, and Barrio Menlo.

Figures 3 and 4 are census block maps. They show the percent of the population that is Hispanic and the population density of each census block in the four neighborhoods. Figure 5 shows the median household income of the census block groups that make up the four neighborhoods.

Figures 6 shows the number of non-domestic assaults per census block in the four neighborhoods from 1994 to June 1999. Figures 7 through 9 highlight the census blocks with the most assaults during this time period.

Figures 10 and 11 present non-domestic assault rates by census block. These rates equal the number of assaults per 1000 persons per year for each census block in the study area. Figure 10 presents results for the period from January 1, 1994 to June 30, 1999. Figure 11 presents results for the period from January 1, 1998 to June 30, 1999.
